Senior Thesis Project

Evidence-Based Design: Design a single-level, 20,000 square foot free-standing building shelter for the homeless that can sleep 40 adults, located in San Francisco that provides privacy and dignity for its residents. The shelter should follow ADA Accessibility Guidelines and use the knowledge, skills, and applications from previous courses in Interior Design. In addition, design should follow the Building Codes, Professional Practices, and Research.
